We will understand some of the composition rules through this article and will understand the rest in the coming articles.

If we try to understand the meaning of composition in simple words, then it means construction with combination. Now it is a combination of the elements visible in the photo or frame, in which what elements are you capturing in the frame with the main subject.

What Is Composition?

Composition is the process of how we set the elements in a photo to create the picture we have in mind. It can make our image beautiful as well as bad, it also depends on your creativity. And this is what we call Composition Of Photograph.

Being a good photographer, you must have amazing power so that you can do composition for any photo. Along with this, your creativity power should also be very high so that you can create an effective and interesting scene by composing even a normal scene. It will come to you with time, practice and experience.

While composing a photo or frame, you should look in front, behind, left and right of the main subject and choose which element you want to keep in your photo or frame and which element is not.

Elements Of Photo

We saw in the definition that clicking a photo to compose the elements in its frame is called composition. So now the question arises that what are Elements?

Elements are mainly of 3 types. Points , Lines and Shapes. Whatever is in your image like your subject, background, small details even matter, all points, lines and shapes. All these are called elements.

Rules Of Composition

If you want to capture a good photo, then there are some rules by following which you can click a good photo. And can become a perfect and good photographer. Because by following these rules, you will see that your photos start to look very beautiful.

1. Rule Of Thirds

The first rule and which has been going on for a very long time, which we call Rule Of Thirds. And this is one of the golden rules of composition. Means all photographers like it very much because by applying it your photos start looking good. Why is it like this ? What is the reason? Because this rule is most effective. Means this roulette fills life even in your simple photos.

Rule Of Thirds

Let us understand why this happens and how to apply it in your photos.

First of all, you have to turn on the 3×3 grid of your camera. You can also turn this on on your DSLRs and your phones. So you see you see 2 lines horizontal and 2 vertical which make 9 boxes. And in the middle you will see that a box is formed. In which you get to see 4 points. And according to this rule, you have to click the photo of your main subject at these 4 points. And you will see that the photo will come out really good.

Now on the points of one side of the second box, you will keep the main subject and the other two points of the other side and click on the other subject, even then your photo will be very wonderful.

2.Rule Of Reflection

When you hear the word Reflection, it comes to your mind that the reflection of an object ie mirror, water, metal and any element whose surface is reflective, by keeping such an element in your frame, when you click an image and your main The image of the subject is also being formed on your element due to reflection, so you will see that even a simple photo will look very beautiful.

Capture the photo using any reflective element in your frame or photo in which the reflection of the main subject is also visible. This is called the Rule of Reflection.

3. Leading Lines

When you capture a photo, there are a lot of lines. And this whole line takes you towards the subject. so that the user
Full attention is focused on the subject. Which makes your photo very effective.

These lines can be any type of lines, these lines can be railway tracks, walls, roads etc.

Leading Lines

You have to set the subject in your photo in such a way where two lines meet. You have to click the photo using such an element. And this is called Leading Lines.

4. Colors & Patterns

You can set this rule whether you do photography in black and white or you do colored photography.

Whatever photography you do, there are colors in it, even when you use colors, your photos look pro. Now how do you use these colors? You take all the photos of the same tone (if there is black then there is white in black, gray means you take a monotone of these three colors). Monotone doesn’t mean black white only, V red can also be monotone, green can also be monotone. You took a monotone, because of which you dressed them in that color, selected the background, which you wanted to give effect, you also put that at the time of editing. So that you get a frame whose colors are all in the same color range.

Colors & Patterns

Or you can also use contrast colors. Now it comes to the question, how will we apply the color? See, it is as simple as you have taken a background and dressed your subject in contrast color clothes, so that your photo emerges. And you will also find it very beautiful to look at.
When you apply all this, you will see that life has been lost in your photo.

After this comes Patterns
According to this rule, you should use some such elements with your subject which show a shape, line again and again and become a pattern. Now these patterns can also be in your background and foreground. Even with this your photos look very effective.
